A burned-out corporate infiltrator called Bradley the Buyer spends his days gaming the stock of the pharmaceutical giant that employs him, and his nights wondering why the whole world feels so deeply, structurally wrong. The answer arrives in a boardroom — and it’s a great deal stranger than he bargained for.
“Birth of the Syndicate” is the origin story of the conspiracy at the heart of this story: one man’s terrible, brilliant idea that corporations are bodies, that bodies get cancer, and that a few well-placed cells can bring a giant to its knees. This is where the long con begins — and where the “gods” get their funding.
