It’s official: the Fallen Cycle fiction podcast is coming.

The Fallen Cycle Mythos fiction podcast will be widely available under a Creative Commons 3.0 license.

It’s official, our “bedtime stories for the antichrist” show is happening. This will be a great way to experience these stories, either for the first time, or to return to for those who have read the books.

Although I have yet to set an official launch date beyond that I’m shooting to roll out the first episode sometime this summer, and continue from there weekly for some time. We already have enough content in progress here behind the scenes to know that this thing is feasible.

I’m going to be syndicating an audio edition of the “primary” novels in the Fallen Cycle, (so far). Tales From When I Had A Face, followed by Party at the World’s End. Each chapter will be adapted as an episode.

I’m especially excited to bring Tales to you all, as it has yet to be released beyond the full-color limited edition hardcovers we did for the Kickstarter. (120 were printed, about 10 remain available direct through me.)

Many if not all of these episodes will include an original soundtrack, although I intend to be overall more minimal than the approach I took with the Witch-doctor fiction podcast. I am currently working on that with Dave Bussell as well as several past collaborators, including Jenn E (the artist formerly known as Johan Ess).

There is also a decent possibility we will return to a sort of redux of the Witch-doctor after completing Party At The World’s End. No final decision on that — there are also a bunch of characters and narratives we could flesh out from the RPGs that we’ve been running for some time now. Many options, supposing there are enough listeners at that point to warrant it.

More on this soon, I’m sure. However, we will not be posting every episode to the blog here, to keep from crowding out other announcements. If you’d like to follow along, subscribe early on Podbean, or set up the RSS in your favorite podcasting app. (https://feed.podbean.com/fallencycle/feed.xml)
